You know, I think you would have to be from New England, (I'm from NH), to even know what those empty wood slatted cages were for! I remember someone once long ago in college seeing one and asking if they were used to transport chickens or pigeons.

Happy WW!

Hi Natalie -- LOL -- an odd site for those who do not see that every day.

I have a picture of a view from Castle in the Clouds -- next time you come to NH, you and your husband should go there on a date without the children!

Hopefully they had those tied down tight!!

Hope they get to their destination alright! Scenes like that are very common in rural Cambodia, and they carry all sorts of stuffs, too! Happy WW.

I don't normally see lobster traps headed down the Interstate but I do see people seining for crawfish in the ditches and bayous here in Louisiana. Maybe I can catch a shot of that some day for my WW post!

Happy Wordless Wednesday.

Check out my entry if you get a chance at Just Some Thoughts

I'd have to follow just to be sure it didn't topple, or maybe just to be there when it did? lol

I'll wait for the chicken truck!

Very cool! Let's hope they're not the tainted lobsters from China.

Lucky you. We have a difficult time finding water around here, let alone forms of any kind of life... Happy WW ;)

Interesting.. That's one thing I can say I've never seen on the road lol

I clicked it bigger to make sure they were empty. When you see it on the menu, you forget that someone has to catch them first. Now I'm wondering who was the driver - and was this his/her job or just a pleasure trip.

Oh.. inquiring minds

Now I'm going to be hungry for lobster all day!

That's a delicate balancing act. Hope there's no big bumps ahead.

That looks a little dangerous. Hopefully they were driving real slow. :)

All I can think of is this...

Everybody get outta here, there's a lobster loose! Ohhhh, holy cow, he's loose! Everybody get outta here - he's vengeful! Quickly! Cover yourself with hot butter and carry lemons just in case you have to squirt him with it and so forth, to repel him! Everybody get outta here, quickly! There's gonna be a tradegy! Oh, God! Ohhhh - Haaaah!
