My husband and I were lucky enough to go on a date tonight. This is a rare occurance. We went to see The Dark Knight and went to dinner at Tokyo Joe's. Yum! The movie was really good though, it was dark dark dark, but it was good. I was surprised it kept my attention for the whole 2 1/2 hours. I used to have a great attention span for movies, but in the past few years that's flown right out the window.
And since we were in Denver we decided to take the girls to the Denver Zoo before leaving them with my inlaws. It was a lot of fun and we picked a perfect day to go. The weather quickly became overcast and cooled down into the 80s. It started sprinkling a bit as we left which cooled things off a little more. I got a really adorable picture of the baby and some others of both of the girls. I'll post them soon, you know...this is a mommy blog I have to show off my cuties.
Oh, and if you're wondering how I did the zoo with my injured knees...I'm now hurting like crazy, but it sure was fun. LOL! Currently I have them slathered in Neosporin and am just relaxing.
As for now I'm off to bed, but I just wanted to say that The Dark Knight was really good and I'd recommend it.

i havent seen it but we're going to watch it on our trip to Denver this weekend. hubby has to attend a training class for work and its gonna be my first time to set foot in COlorado and im excited. :)

Oh, I'm jealous of your date night! My hubby wants to see that movie. We'll have to go soon, I hope! Sorry your knees are still hurting :(
