Sharpen the Mind, Shape the Body with GameStop

A few years ago I would never have associated video games with physical fitness. But with games like Nintendo's Wii Fit, My Fitness Coach and Dance Dance Revolution now you can have fun while getting in shape. As a busy mom I totally understand how hard it can be to squeeze in that gym workout while still getting errands done, the house clean and my family fed. GameStop understands this as well which is why they have launched their Sharpen the Mind, Shape the Body campaign to bring you great deals on games that shape your body, like the ones mentioned above, or ones that sharpen the mind like the Brain Age games for Nintendo DS. With the Sharpen the Mind, Shape the Body deals you can get a 12-month trial subscription to Cosmopolitan, Marie Clair, Redbook, Good Housekeeping or Esquire just for spending $35 or more on selected merchandise. You have all of January to take advantage of this offer, but don't wait because February will sneak up on us before we know it.

We're already big fans of GameStop. They have a great selection of new and used games and their staff has always been very helpful. My husband and I got the Wii Fit as our Christmas present to each other and we've really had a great time with it. We're definitely planning on getting more games to go along with it. Personally, I would love the Jillian Michaels Fitness Ultimatum 2008. She kicks some serious butt in her workout dvds, but I have trouble motivating myself to use them. But I have no problem playing the Wii Fit so I'm thinking this might be the perfect solution to my motivation problem.

No matter your fitness goals this year GameStop has something you're sure to enjoy whether it's for exercise purposes or just for fun. Also, don't forget to check Mom Central for information on great products and services just like this.

My neighbor was just telling me about the Jillian Michaels workout for WiiFit. I'm not sure if I can handle her or not! I'm sure it wouldn't hurt me to try though.

I have been pining over the wii fit for months and months now, but I cant afford it and my hub is tired of hearing me say how much I want Jillian's program for it... Its sad. I am hoping to get a wii fit maybe next month? We'll see if the funds are there or not!

Did you know I gave you an award on my blog??
